Learn how to make the most of the P&L page and its features
Start exploring
The P&L page allows you to deep dive into your profits and losses. You can manipulate allocation and view a breakdown of your P&L along with the major contributions to your absolute P&L. You also have the opportunity to monitor your positions from multiple angles.
Gain a new perspective
By changing how you look at P&L (either by region, currency, account and sector) and looking within the segments themselves you can benefit from a fresh view on your portfolio.
Take advantage of our insights
Each page has tailored insights that can help you analyze your portfolio and start thinking like a professional
Inspect by asset class
Identifying where P&L comes from is the first step toward effective asset allocation. Use this to see where you made or lost money in your portfolio.
You can use the "Show by" filter to see P&L allocations by different categories and the "Date Range" filter to change the timeframe.
Allocate wisely
By changing the allocation toggle in the same graph you can see your total P&L against your net investment.
To view specifics at different times you can hover over each of our graphs.
See the big picture
This graph shows you your top profit and loss makers. You can use the "Show by" filter to see these same positions by different categories and "Date Range" to change the timeframe while the toggle on the top right hides your closed positions. This helps you focus on your core positions with the largest P&L impact.
Monitor your positions
The simplified position monitor allows you to sort and view what you own against various selectable columns. You can click each position for more details and see specific insights that help you understand the effect the position has on your overall portfolio.
This gives you a quick overview of your positions and you can access more filters and columns on the Positions page.
